Yes. Chill Time is fully slipcovered, from cushions to frame. When you're ready for a change, swap the covers, not the sofa. Shop for slipcovers here.

Yes, that’s one of the best things about a modular sofa. Start with what works for your space today and add pieces over time as your needs change. Every Chill Time piece is sold separately, so you can build at your own pace.

Eight-way hand-tied springs are a traditional construction method for sofas, where each coil spring is tied by hand in eight directions. This connects every spring to the ones beside it, allowing for even support. It’s known as the gold standard of sofa construction because it spreads weight evenly, so every seat gets the same lasting support.

Every Chill Time piece has anti-slip feet to keep it in place and reduce sliding, so there’s no need for connectors.

Before ordering, we recommend measuring your space carefully. Two things worth checking:

Getting it in: Because Chill Time is modular, pieces arrive separately, making it much easier to navigate doorways, hallways, elevators, and staircases than a traditional sofa. That said, it's still worth measuring any tight spots first. Our guide walks you through how to measure your space to make sure it will fit.

Getting it right: Confirm the sofa dimensions work for the space you have in mind. Chill Time comes in one size, and you can build the configuration that works for you.

Yes. Chill Time slipcovers are fully removable and washable. We recommend machine washing them on a cold, gentle cycle, with zippers done up, then hanging or laying flat to dry. Care instructions vary slightly by fabric, so check the Care & Longevity section for your fabric.

Yes. Our performance fabrics are non-toxic and PFAS-free, with none of the harmful chemicals found in many conventional fabric treatments. They’re also stain-resistant and washable, so spills clean up easily without harsh products. Designed with busy households in mind, and safe for the whole family.

Our sofas are built for the long run. The frame is solid wood and plywood, reinforced at pressure points with no MDF or particle board, so it stays solid and won’t wobble or creak over time. Slipcovers are fully removable and replaceable, from cushions to frame, so if a cover wears you can replace it without replacing the sofa. Reversible cushions help distribute wear evenly. The goal is a sofa you won’t need to replace, and a frame that outlasts the fabrics by years.

Chill Time cushions are made for structured, supportive comfort. Each seat and back cushion has a high-density foam core wrapped in a feather and fibre blend, giving a soft feel with a clean, tailored shape. Welt stitching finishes every edge. To keep them looking their best, flip and rotate them regularly.

Yes, our fabrics really are stain resistant! Our sofas are made with durable and cozy performance fabrics. You can easily clean up most spills with a paper towel. For tougher stains, you can use mild soap and water, or on some of our sofas you can remove your slipcovers to wash them. We recommend dry cleaning or machine washing them on a cold, gentle cycle, then hang to dry. Not sure which fabric is right for you? Our free swatches make it easy to find a fabric that feels right for your space.

To make sure your sofa will fit, we always recommend measuring your entryways, hallways, and the room itself. This guide walks you through each step. Modular sofas also add extra flexibility since each section comes in separately.
